Sea Life Brighton
The sea life centre is located on the seafront and very easy to access and find, it has nice big bold entrance. I opted for the option of going for a gold entrance ticket which included a few extras Fast Track into the Sea Life centre, 15% off in the store, behind the scene tour and a trip on the glass bottomless boat, all of this was just £22.50 just an extra £5 from the original ticket price. The sea life centre was quite big compared to the ones I've been to before it had loads to do and loads to see I was really impressed with how much there was to see. The behind the scene tour was a 20 minute walk around the food preparation area where we got to hold some creatures and we got to learn all about what they ate, as well as learn all about sea horses included a look at some new born's. The bottom less boat took us over the glass tunnel and with all the sharks and turtles in meaning we has an impressive close up which I really enjoy. Over all it's a great day out for family's and adults!
Brighton Pier
One of my favorite attractions was the Brighton Pier which had loads to do and see, included amusement arcades, a fair and some stalls and shops to mooch at. I started with a look in the fair and was after some lolly's to take home which I found pretty much straight away and picked up three for under £1! Then reached the amusement arcades which I could of spent my whole holiday there as I'm a massive fan off the 2p machines. I then got to the centre of the pier which had some lovely views of Brighton and the sea, there was also deck chairs and some benches to sit and enjoys the views as well as some restaurants and a great pub. And then of course I got to the main attraction on the pier which was the fair, I was surprised with how big it was and how many rides there was.
The Lanes and North Laine
Brighton shopping is kind of hard to not do as most of the streets have shops on and I found it hard to afford buying something, one of the best places to visit in The Lanes and North Laine which are adorable little streets with high street and high end shops mixed up to create the perfect shopping experiences.
Western Street and Churchill Centre
As well as the lane shopping Brighton also offers a shopping street and a shopping centre which are pretty much on the same street. The Churchill centre is a three floored shopping centre with all some great high street stores. On Western street you will find some larger stores like Marks and Spencer, Primark and a Topshop.
Museums
There at quite a few museums in Brighton which surprised me with how small the city is, there a great Toy and Model museum with old classic toys to amuse children and of course adults if you enjoy toys! There's also the Art Gallery with some fantastic art pieces, and of course there's the Royal Pavilion which you will need to book online as it can get very busy and you may miss out on visiting the attraction.
Sea Front and Marina
One of my favorite things to do was to go down onto the sea front and have a look at the beach attractions, there's a lot of market tables and a few trampolines which is great for kids. If you go right at the sea front and take a walk you can reach the lovely area of Hove with the painted beach huts and a great selection of shops. Going left at the seafront takes you to the Marina with all the boats and a great selection of restaurants.
I went for 3 days to Brighton and found I had enough time to fit everything in but it would of been nice for an extra day or two, Brighton is great for family's, kids and adults and I would highly recommend visiting if you are looking at places to go in the UK. I've also done a post a week ago on a great affordable hostel in Brighton so if you are stuck on where to stay I would highly recommend Kipps!
