LA | Hollywood

The one place I was most excited to explore when I got to LA was Hollywood, for me this is the most talked about and biggest attraction to LA. I have seen it so many times in films and also read so much about it that I was over the moon to explore Hollywood and figured I would give you the low down of what to expect and what to also check out.

Starting at Hollywood/Vine station on the Hollywood Blvd street this is where you will find the last of the stars from the Walk Of Fame, this area is quite different to the main strip at the top end of Hollywood Blvd, there is a lot of sleazy shops that sell odd underwear and it's seems a little uneasy here but it's also the location to the Museum of Death and you can also find Capital Records Tower here as well as some impressive artwork.

Walking up the street you will find more Walk Of Fame stars, following them you will come across Ripley's Museum and also some great shops to explore as well as plenty of gift shops. This area will make you relax a bit more but it will also be the calm before the storm of main Hollywood!

Keep walking and you will now hit the main area of Hollywood the nearest metro being Highland, this area will be busy and full of tourists here you have, Dolby Theatre, Madame Tussauds, TCL Chinese Theatre and much more. This is where all the main shops are such as Sephora and Forever 21 and of course Ghiradelli famous for its chocolate and Disney!

So that is Hollywood in all it's glory, it's fast and fun here with plenty to see and do, there's always an event going on I managed to get a make over at a MAC event and also saw some wrestling happening, not forgetting the amazing street performers and artist that line Hollywood it's worth a visit!
